But Western styles of music and dress are becoming more common across the continent.

In Ghana 64% said they preferred to wear Western-style clothes.

In 2009, Africa Fashion Week has been taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa. The show features elite designers from the continent in the first of what will become an annual showcase.
